This set the stage for the 1 million square feet facility that NetApp India undertook to construct two years ago. The building that now stands for everything that NetApp represents as a brand lives up to the vision set out by the leadership. Set in over 15 acres of land with 10 floors above and 3 beneath the ground, it bears a stamp of the commitment that NetApp has made to being in India, its largest R&D center in the world.

NetApp India has been ranked 7 in the Great Places to Work Survey in 2017 which speaks volumes about its culture. NetApp employees are provided with flexibility to strike a healthy work-life balance. The Yoga Room: Pursuing Inner Peace The Yoga Room allows employees to take a break from work in the healthiest way possible. NetApp employees can choose from two slots of hour-long session five days a week and take time towards their mental and physical well-being.

The Gym: Personalized Fitness Programs. A multidiscipline modern gym has all the equipment to keep the body in shape- a compliment to a great mind. Certified trainers ensure employees follow their workout plans, including four massage chairs that can be used by employees when they want to relax. Work shouldn’t get in the way of a solid workout session, right?

NetApp Cafeteria. A multi-cuisine cafeteria caters to all types and sizes of food cravings. With live counters for Indian and continental food at subsidized rates, the Cafeteria turns into a watering hole for employees during beer bash on Fridays. It seats up to 1000 people, as well outdoor cabanas that overlook the landscaped grounds. Just a floor below, NetApp’s Mall Street allows employees to buy daily conveniences, visit ATMs, pay bills, book tickets, and even visit doctors at work!

The sports ground makes for the favourite evening spot of all sports enthusiasts at NetApp. Indoor games such as Table Tennis, Badminton, Pool, Foosball, Chess and Carrom keep employees active during breaks, providing a holistic environment to support employees’ active lifestyles.
