Sennheiser Showcases Latest Collaboration Solutions at InfoComm India 2026
At their booth, I was introduced to Sennheisser’s latest technologies across corporate, education, live production and other professional audio applications. I witnessed the new Spectera SKM handheld transmitter and a new ceiling microphone called TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus (TCC M Plus). The tour took place at the Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai, last week.
On display was the Spectera platform, the world’s first wideband, bidirectional wireless ecosystem. With the addition of the new Spectera SKM handheld transmitter, the core elements of the ecosystem come together in one integrated solution, bringing microphones, in-ear monitoring, remote control and monitoring together across a range of professional audio applications.
The Spectera SKM completes the core elements of the Spectera ecosystem, expanding its applications into corporate and higher education environments.
The Spectera SKM combines Sennheiser’s renowned sound quality with the flexibility and control of the Spectera ecosystem. Compatible with Sennheiser and Neumann microphone capsules, the handheld transmitter provides remote control of key microphone parameters including gain and low-cut.
Monitoring and remote configuration are integrated into the Spectera ecosystem through its control channel, without requiring a separate wireless control network. The handheld maintains bidirectional communication with the Base Station, enabling AV teams to monitor battery status, RF performance, audio levels, signal strength and link quality in real time.
The new Spectera SKM handheld transmitter will become commercially available in India from Q4 2026, expanding Spectera’s applications into corporate and higher education environments.
TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus
Sennheiser also showed me the TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus (TCC M Plus), a new ceiling microphone designed to deliver clear, natural speech while simplifying setup, configuration and management. Its dynamic beamforming and enhanced exclusion zones help ensure reliable voice pickup as participants move around the room, while single-cable connectivity supports streamlined installation and deployment.
A key capability is PartnerLink, Sennheiser’s integration feature that enables direct microphone configuration through Q-SYS Designer Software. TCC M Plus also integrates with Sennheiser’s DeviceHub, a cloud-based platform for centralised monitoring, configuration and diagnostics, helping AV and IT teams efficiently manage devices across multiple rooms and locations.
Building on the success of the TeamConnect Ceiling portfolio, TCC M Plus combines trusted Sennheiser audio performance with a new generation of features designed to reduce deployment effort, simplify system configuration, and support scalable AV environments.
I was told the special feature of this solution was TruVoiceLift technology. This is Sennheisser’s patented beam forming technology for ceiling microphones solutions such as TeamConnect Ceiling M (TCC M) and TeamConnect Ceiling 2 (TCC 2).
Per notes on the Sennheiser website, a voice lift system is used whenever it is necessary to ensure that the person speaking via a microphone is clearly understood throughout the room. The aim is therefore to achieve good speech intelligibility. The primary objective is to bridge the sound level loss over the distance between the speaker and the listener: the further away a listener is from the speaker, the higher the sound level loss and the softer the speaker’s voice sounds to him.
And beamforming technology enables perfect speech intelligibility and acoustics in medium-sized and large rooms. Whether you want to use the voice amplification in the entire room or only in a certain area – thanks to the flexible beamforming, speakers can move around freely without having to carry a microphone. This enables uncomplicated and quick switches between speakers and offers the freedom to use a room acoustically for different scenarios, for example as a meeting room, lecture hall or for a video conference. Thanks to the possibility of defining restricted zones, disturbing background noises, for example from devices, can simply be masked out, which increases speech intelligibility.

Beyond TCC M Plus and Spectera, Sennheiser also showcased its wider portfolio of audio solutions, including TeamConnect Bars, SpeechLine Digital Wireless, Evolution Wireless Digital and EW-DX.
The Neumann portfolio was represented with selected solutions for recording, monitoring and content creation, including the MT 48 audio interface, KH 120 studio monitor, KH 805 II subwoofer and NDH 20 headphones.
