More than a year after office workers began to work from home, most have become accustomed to a daily routing of numerous video calls and online meetings using collaboration platforms. Office workers, content creators,  and professionals such as actors, stand-up comedians, artists, podcasters, vloggers, and YouTube Creators have invested in microphones, headphones, mixers, and editing software — and learned to use the tools for the creation and editing of audio/video content. Even teachers and educators have upped their game by using these digital tools. Those looking for a decent microphone on Amazon, would be presented with brands mainly from China, Korea or the US markets. A decent condenser microphone for podcasting, for instance, costs in the range of ₹ 10,000 – 15,000. But JBL has just made quality condenser microphones more affordable, dipping below the 10,000 ($137) threshold. It just launched the JBL Commercial CSUM10 compact USB microphone for the Indian market. The microphone is exclusively available on Amazon at a special launch price of ₹ 5799 ($80).

According to JBL, this new USB mic, which bears a striking resemblance to the Blue Yeti USB condenser mic, delivers a pristine studio quality sound for voice-overs, podcasters, vloggers, gamers, vocalists, acoustic instrument users and for users of web conferencing. Listeners can simply plug the mic into their PC or Mac and start recording, without the hassle of installing drivers.
