Continues to invest in creating adaptive infrastructure, through its digital service offerings

New Delhi, June 11, 2015:  Tech Mahindra Ltd. a specialist in digital transformation, consulting and business re-engineering today announced the launch of its next generation Cloud Management Platform mPAC (managed Platform for Adaptive Computing) for Hybrid IT Management. It leverages technologies from HP suite of products.

mPAC is the next generation cloud management platform which simplifies IT by transforming legacy datacenters into adaptive infrastructure enabling a Software Defined Datacenter. It aims to improve agility by reducing service deployment time from months to minutes, thereby resulting in significant cost savings.

Enterprises are currently facing challenges due to enterprise applications and underlying infrastructure moving away from traditional on-premise Data Centers to SaaS, PaaS and IaaS cloud service providers.  mPAC is being launched to enable Hybrid IT management that leverages on-premise & hosted services to deliver optimal value. More than 50% of enterprises will adopt Hybrid IT and two-thirds of these enterprises will need external help in deploying and managing these Hybrid IT solutions. mPAC is designed and well positioned to serve these enterprises.

mPAC has an in-built business analytics engine that makes sense of the massive amounts of disparate events, topology and log data, to identify the root cause of  complex datacenter and cloud issues. It empowers unified visualization, reporting and service accounting in a multitenant environment, thereby eliminating operational silos. It provides cloud aggregation and brokering services for enterprises to conveniently access public, private, and hybrid cloud resource pools.

Pravin Bolar, Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Management Services, Tech Mahindra, said, “The mPAC platform from Tech Mahindra provides the ability to effectively manage enterprise workloads running across legacy datacenters, private cloud and other cloud service providers (for SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) . mPAC provides a private cloud infrastructure and a hybrid cloud management platform with the option of zero capital investment. mPAC and our cloud migration services allow customers to transform their legacy datacenters into an Agile and Business Driven infrastructure for Digital IT.”

Atul Garg , Vice President and General Manager, Cloud and Automation Management Software, HP, said, “This solution has helped IT organizations transition from just managing  servers and infrastructure to orchestrating the timely delivery of end to end services and applications with consistency, compliance and reliability to their competitive advantage.”

“Enterprises across the globe are transitioning to scalable and flexible hybrid cloud architectures to meet the needs of their users, HP and Tech Mahindra have strategic Alliance for working closely to address hybrid cloud market with this offering” said Pritam Parvatkar, Vice President & Global Head, Alliances & Partnerships, Tech Mahindra. “As global strategic alliance, Tech Mahindra and HP are committed in taking our customers on this journey of adaptive infrastructure in a Hybrid IT environment.
